A new building that was required to maintain the demand of extra business enjoyed by a garden nursery and farm shop which supports a butchery and restaurant near Kidderminster was successfully completed and put to use recently. The multi-use storage buildings with capacity to hold an extensive range of plant cuttings, shrubs and flowers along with a separate unit for grain harvested from the same farm has been a much appreciated addition to this thriving nursery which opened for business in 1977 and has expanded alongside a very interesting 300 acre farm which proudly promotes its ‘old fashioned’ mixed farming with pigs, cattle, laying hens and even a few horses.
EUROSIX natural grey fully compressed fibre cement roof sheeting was used to cover this new facility. The benefits of fibre cement supplied by Briarwood Products were of course a major factor in the specification of this multi-use building which also needed to store grain. A watertight building with a condensation free atmosphere was the starting point. A maintenance free product covering the roof along with an ability to supply a sufficient ventilation system and will not suffer from rust or chemical attack makes EUROSIX the perfect solution to the demands of this building.
