On Our Farm

Did you know we are one of the only farms in the UK that farm Parthenaise cattle, a French breed, traditionally used for the dual purpose of milk and meat.

Parthenaise cattle is now mainly raised for beef due to their ‘double-muscling’ characteristic, meaning that high levels of lean muscle can develop without being limited by the usual biological systems.

Their beef is also considered tender, and reportedly contains lower cholesterol than chicken!
