EUROSIX Specified For Crown Estates Farm
A very picturesque part of Dorset now has a new Eurosix Anthracite fibre cement clad building which was designed and built from the groundworks up by Burt Steel Fabrications Ltd from Sturminster Newton, Dorset. The requirement on this farm was to extend from a small Grain Store which had been a working building for over 50 years and to include additional general machine storage alongside the Grain Store facility. RIDBA Corporate member, Burt Steel Fabrications’ knowledge and experience of working on many Crown Estates farms was a major benefit to their client on this project. Planning and building regulations with care and understanding of the local landscape was just part of the brief. Specific design criteria and allowing the original building to still be used during part of the new build construction was also a requirement successfully met by Burt Steel with great approval from their client.
EUROSIX fully compressed Anthracite fibre cement roof sheeting was supplied by Briarwood Products Ltd. One of the many benefits of EUROSIX is the large stockholding available from Briarwood’s distribution warehouses with a full range of sheet sizes and fittings ready for delivery anywhere in theUK, at short notice if required.
Having no restrictions of sheet sizes or fittings gives you the opportunity to set out your building without having to compromise your construction and design details. In addition to Anthracite, Briarwood Products are also able to offer the EUROSIX Meadowscape range in Jasper and Serpentine matt finish colours from stock.
All EUROSIX material has full BBA Certification and conforms to UK quality control systems. It does not suffer from material corrosion or rust and has excellent vapour permeability and acoustic insulation performance benefits which are an advantage over many other roofing materials available currently.
